About to begin Day 2

About to get started with Day 2 of SEC Media Days here in Birmingham, Ala., where everybody gets on the same road at every time of the day you wish to travel. Georgia, Kentucky and Ole Miss will go until noon and Arkansas, Florida and LSU finish it off.
By the way, I'm not sure if anybody's mentioned it, but the women's preseason poll was released a couple of days ago. South Carolina was picked to finish 11th, with Vanderbilt picked first. No Gamecock was named to the preseason All-SEC team.
I'm off to try and penetrate the wall surrounding Kentucky coach Billy Gillispie, who I'm sure will be three-deep in notepads for the next two hours. Maybe I'll just holler, "Christian Laettner!" and see how fast I can worm past the shocked faces to get to the table.

Ah, the lessons one learns with a daily dose of "Saved By The Bell" ... (Today was the one where Zack, Lisa and Screech began a teen help phone line).
