Arriving in Lexington

------------------ CRACKER
Me, Shoe, Paul and Scott are in the Bluegrass and are waiting for C.J., Roger and Greg to show. Coincidentally, I ran into the latter three while closing down a Waffle House ...
Good town, Lexington. Unfortunately, I didn't get here in time to peruse Keeneland (which, I understand, a couple of the other beat writers did to their full advantage), but I still had a great time enjoying the sights and sounds of downtown UK.
It's Midnight Madness tonight (or Big Blue Madness, whatever the locals prefer), so me and the boys (why do I suddenly feel like a NASCAR driver) partook of the other things Lexington has to offer. Good bar called the Awesome Moose, great patio at a nearby pizza joint, terrific folks who invited me to chat and to a house party.
Gotta be up early tomorrow to bring all of you the best Gamecock coverage you can find, yasee.
I hear Willy Korn, he of the "Dance, Dance Revolution" truckstop addiction, has been named starting quarterback at Clemson. In related news, Georgia Tech (this week's opponent) has just signed former Gaffney quarterback Malcolm Long.
That's all, boys and girls, and if a certain lovely woman in the outer wilds of Tennessee happens to read this, I'm thinking of you.
Talk to you from the Commonwealth tomorrow.
